Portugal's final preparatory match for the European Championships sees them play Croatia on Saturday evening.

For the Euros, Portugal are in a group alongside Turkey, Georgia and the Czech Republic, while Croatia are with Spain, Italy and Albania.

Portugal current form

On Tuesday, Portugal defeated Finland 4-2, with Ruben Dias, Diogo Jota and Bruno Fernandes (2) getting on the scoresheet.

To reach the Euros, Portugal were imperious in qualifying, winning all of their 10 games in Group J alongside Slovakia, Luxembourg, Iceland, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Liechtenstein.

They scored 36 goals and conceded just two.

Croatia current form

On Monday, Croatia beat North Macedonia 3-0, with Lovro Majer (2) and Marco Pasalic scoring.

The Croatians reached the European Championships after finishing in Group D behind Turkey and ahead of Wales, Armenia and Latvia.

Portugal vs Croatia Team News

Cristiano Ronaldo wasn't involved in the friendly the other day but should feature in some capacity here to keep his match fitness up before Portugal's opening Euros game.

Fernandes scored two off the bench against Finland so he could make a start, with Diogo Costa, Bernardo Silva and Diogo Dalot also coming in to the starting XI.

For Croatia, Josko Gvardiol should start, though head coach Zlatko Dalic could make the majority of his alterations at half-time.

A lot of big hitters will return for Portugal, so they should edge this one - narrowly.
