Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping his side can take confidence from their recent run of form in the road and use it to pick up all three points against Leeds on Sunday.

While United have the best away form in the Premier League, Solskjaer’s side have won just one home game from six in the English top flight this season. Fortunately for the Old Trafford boss, he should have a number of options to pick from ahead of the clash.

Following an unfortunate performance against Sheffield United, which saw the shot-stopper get caught in possession and conceded a goal, Dean Henderson will almost certainly drop to the bench in place of David De Gea.

In defence, Solskjaer should stick with his trusted pairing of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof in the middle of the back four, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka on the right. Luke Shaw, who was rested in midweek, is also likely to return to the starting XI at left back.

Solskjaer opted for a midfield duo of Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba in midweek, but he’s likely to revert back to his preferred midfield trio formation. That’ll likely mean Scott McTominay and Fred returning to the starting XI, with Pogba almost certain to keep his spot alongside them in midfield following his impressive performance.

This will likely lead to Bruno Fernandes playing in his preferred No.10 role at the front of United’s midfield diamond, with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial playing up front in the strike partnership.
