Riyad Mahrez was the best player of the Premier League weekend after his starring performance in Man City's 5-0 home win against Burnley.

The Algerian scored a perfect 10 FC Rating after scoring a hat-trick.

He is joined in the Premier League Team of the Week by team-mates Kevin De Bruyne (8.4), who recorded two assists in the win, and Kyle Walker (7.4), who also gained an assist and who was part of the backline which kept a solid clean sheet.

Edinson Cavani (9.2) leads the line after his match-winning performance off the bench for Man Utd. He entered the action at half-time with United down 2-0, and helped them come back to win 3-2 with a pair of goals, the second of which coming in the dying minutes.

Jack Grealish (8.3) completes the forward line despite being on the losing side with Aston Villa versus West Ham.

Nemanja Matic (7.8) features in midfield after making more ball recoveries (15) than any other outfield player this weekend, with Kalvin Phillips (7.7) included following his excellent outing for Leeds away at Everton.

New Man Utd star Alex Telles (7.5) makes the Team of the Week for the first time, slotting in at left-back.

John Stones' (8.2) distribution at the back for Man City was remarkable as he completed 93/96 attempted passes to team-mates.

West Ham's Angelo Ogbonna (7.5) makes up the defence.

Leeds kept a clean sheet away at Everton and vital to them not conceding was goalkeeper Illan Meslier (9.0), who made no less than eight saves to help his side claim all three points.
