Villarreal head into the final game of the Primera Division season knowing they cannot be budged from their eight-placed finish in the table.

The Yellow Submarine have just missed out on qualification for Europe.

Osasuna, meanwhile, will finish solidly midtable.

Osauna current form

Without nothing much to play for at the business end of the campaign, Osasuna have largely been poor over the last few weeks.

They impressively emerged victorious against Atletico Madrid last week, but prior to that they went on a run of six games without a win and lost four of those against Valencia, Rayo, Granada and Betis.

Villarreal current form

Villarreal, on the other hand, have enjoyed a positive bit of form with three wins, a loss and a draw in their last five.

The loss came in a 3-2 defeat against Celta, while the victories were against Rayo, Sevilla and Girona.

Last weekend, they took part in a hugely entertaining clash against Real Madrid which ended 4-4, with star striker Alexander Sorloth scoring four.

Osasuna vs Villarreal Team News

David Garcia, David Garcia and Kike Barja are all definitely out for Osasuna.

Alfonso Pedraza, Juan Foyth and Denis Suarez are out for Villarreal, while Yeremy Pino is still battling to get back to fitness. He hasn't played since November and is unlikely to be risked on the final day.

Scoreline Prediction

Villarreal have been solid recently, while their four-goal haul against Madrid last week is not to be sniffed at.
