Manchester United have completed the signing of Edinson Cavani on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Napoli striker is PSG's top goalscorer of all-time just ahead of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but through form or injuries he steadily fell out of favour with Thomas Tuchel.
Following the news that he would indeed be leaving PSG following the expiration of his contract, he was linked with a host of clubs from Atletico Madrid in La Liga to newly-promoted Premier League side Leeds Utd.
In the end, Man Utd won the race for his signature, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to add some firepower up top.

Over the course of the summer, United's primary transfer target was Jadon Sancho of Dortmund, but they were unable to meet the asking price of the German side.
They then turned their attention to Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele in what was another deal they ultimately couldn't make happen.
They will settle for Cavani, though, who is set to earn around £9m per year on a two-year deal at Old Trafford.
Man Utd were unable to bring in a centre-back on transfer deadline day despite shipping six goals to Tottenham in a 6-1 loss on Sunday.
