Odegaard back in? How Real Madrid could line up against Cadiz

The Norwegian performed well on international duty and Zinedine Zidane may be ready to give him another chance at No. 10

Zinedine Zidane will have been encouraged by how his Real Madrid side performed against Levante in their 2-0 win in their last league match.

But a number of the squad positions remain up for grabs, not least in the attacking positions.

Vinicius Jr has fought his way back into the starting line-up and is likely to get another start here on the left of the attack, with the ever-present Karim Benzema through the middle.

The right is a little less clear but the position is likely to go to Marco Asensio, who has impressed more than Rodrygo on the right hand side of the pitch.

Defensively both Dani Carvajal and Alvaro Odriozola are both injured so Nacho will deputise at right-back once again, with Marcelo the likely option in what is an easier fixture at home.

Toni Kroos is still out so we can expect two from three of Luka Modric, Federico Valverde and Casemiro. If he opts for a No. 10 once again he has a choice between Isco and Martin Odegaard, and given the Norwegian was fielded in two tough away matches previously it would not be a surprise to see him brought back in for an easier home game.

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard is still out and he's unlikely to play again before the end of this international break.
