Man Utd will be without deadline day signing Edinson Cavani for this weekend's match against Newcastle.

The Uruguayan signed for the club on the last day of the transfer window, but is still in coronavirus quarantine and won't be involved with the matchday squad.

Fellow deadline day signing Alex Telles is eligible to take part, however.

This week, Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for coronavirus which made Man Utd sweat over the availability for this weekend's match of his international team-mate Bruno Fernandes.

However, the former Sporting man has been given the all-clear to play on Saturday.

Eric Bailly picked up an injury while on international duty with the Ivory Coast, and although he is probably fit enough to play against Newcastle, he might have been replaced by Victor Lindelof anyway after his awful outing against Spurs.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a selection dilemma up top as Anthony Martial is suspended following his harsh red card in the match against Jose Mourinho's side.

Marcus Rashford will likely be deployed in the centre-forward position in the Frenchman's place.

Donny van de Beek should, should make his starting debut for the club.
