PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed that Neymar might be fit enough to return for this weekend's Ligue 1 fixture against Lille.

The champions suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Lyon this past weekend, though the arguably more worrying news concerned Neymar, who was stretchered off the pitch with what looked like a major ankle injury.

Speculation was rife after the incident that it may even have been broken or that he suffered ligament damage, but subsequent tests have confirmed the injury is not as bad as initially feared.

Neymar remains a definite absentee for PSG's midweek match against Lorient, but could be available for selection for Lille, according to Tuchel.

"It is not impossible that we see Neymar again before the winter break," the German told reporters on Tuesday.

"We will do everything for Lille. I cannot say yes or no. We must wait to see his test results on Wednesday."

During the same press conference, Tuchel also reflected on PSG drawing Barcelona in the Champions League.

"It is a very, very difficult draw against a European giant," he responded when asked about the tie.

"However, it is in February. It is too early to discuss it in detail."

Following the damaging defeat at the hands of Lyon, PSG are now down to third In Ligue 1, one point adrift of Lyon and Lille in first and second.
