A few days ago Paris Saint-Germain were worried that Neymar had played their last game for the club this year.
Against Reims the Brazilian picked up a thigh injury which looked likely to see him miss out the match against Angers this weekend. However, head coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed that the superstar had completed two full training sessions this week, so he should be available for selection.
That injury would only have seen him miss one match. The rest of the potential absence from the team for the rest the year came down to a potential suspension for racist language used against Hiroki Sakai in the fiery Le Classique versus Marseille.
In that game, no less than five players were sent off, including Neymar.
Afterwards, he accused Marseille defender Alvaro of racial abuse, while he himself was subsequently accused of racism too towards Sakai.
Both players were cleared of any wrongdoing this week, and have avoided a lengthy suspension.
PSG will be without the services of Layvin Kurzawa and Angel Di Maria, though, with the latter receiving a four-match ban for spitting at Alvaro in the aforementioned Le Classique.
Unfortunately for the French champions, Juan Bernat will miss the majority of the season after rupturing his ACL.
