Both Newcastle and Tottenham will be keen to strengthen their European qualification hopes with a Premier League win at St. James' Park on Saturday.

Newcastle won't repeat the feat of qualifying for the Champions League like they did last season, but are still in the race for a Europa League place, while Spurs are currently in the top four, poised to return to the Champions League under Ange Postecoglou.

Newcastle Team News and predicted XI

Newcastle's injury crisis has been well-documented this season, and it has just gotten worse as Joe Willock has joined Callum Wilson, Joelinton, Nick Pope, Jamaal Lascelles, Sven Botman, Matt Targett, Tino Livramento and Kieran Trippier on the sidelines.

Sandro Tonali remains suspended.

With Willock now out of contention, we'll probably see a start in midfield for Elliot Anderson, while Harvey Barnes could replace Jacob Murphy on the wing in the front three alongside Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon.

Newcastle (4-3-3): Dubravka; Krafth, Schar, Burn, Hall; Anderson, Guimaraes, Longstaff; Gordon, Barnes, Isak.

Tottenham Team News and predicted XI

Fraser Forster, Ryan Sessegnon and Manor Solomon are all definite absentees for Spurs, while the fitness of Richarlison will be assessed closer to the game after he missed the Forest win due to a knee problem.

If the Brazilian is unavailable, we'll probably see an unchanged XI from the team that beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 last time out.

Tottenham (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bissouma, Sarr; Johnson, Maddison, Werner; Son.
