Netherlands' preparations for the European Championships continue on Thursday as they host Canada at the Stadion Feijenoord.

Within the Euros, they have been placed in a group alongside Poland, Austria and France.

Netherlands current form

The Oranje's two most recent matches were friendlies against Scotland and Germany. They defeated the Scots 4-0, but lost 2-1 against Germany a few days later.

In Euro qualifying, they won six out of their eight matches in Group B and finished second in the standings behind France.

Canada current form

Canada's last match was a Concacaf Nations League playoff against Trinidad and Tobago which they won 2-0.

Prior to that, they lost the Concacaf Nations League quarter-final against Jamaica over two legs on away goals.

Netherlands vs Canada Team News

Frenkie de Jong suffered an injury for Barcelona and isn't included in the squad for the friendly, but should be available for the Euros.

Expect Ronald Koeman to tinker and see what works as he decides on a strategy for the tournament proper.

For Canada and Jesse Marsch, Joel Waterman is not available, so expect Derek Cornelius, Luc De Fougerolles or Richie Laryea to deputies at the back.

Scoreline Prediction

Even without key player De Jong, the Netherlands will have too much for Canada, especially at home.

Netherlands 3-0 Canada
