On the final day of the Scottish Premiership season, one matter is still to be resolved and it surrounds the relegation playoff.

At the moment, St Johnstone are 11th in the table but could save themselves if they defeat Motherwell and hope Aberdeen defeat Ross County, who are in 10th.

Motherwell current form

Motherwell's form since the split has been mixed as they have won two and lost two, with the two wins coming versus Livingston and Ross County.

Last time out, they were humbled 3-0 away at Hibs.

St Johnstone current form

St Johnstone are in their precarious position largely due to their awful form since the split as they have lost three and drawn one, with the solitary point being earned at home to Ross County.

They have won just seven games all season.

Motherwell vs St Johnstone Team News

Callum Slattery is definitely out for Motherwell, while there are doubts over Jonathan Obika and Barry Maguire.

As for St Johnstone, Ross Sinclair and Sven Sprangler are out.

Scoreline Prediction

Motherwell may not have anything to play for, but they should have enough to seal St Johnstone's playoff fate.

Motherwell 2-1 St Johnstone
