While plenty of countries in Europe are preparing for the European Championships, Moldova and Cyprus have to settle for a relatively meaningless international friendly encounter.
Moldova current form
In March, Moldova played two friendlies against North Macedonia and the Cayman Islands.
They drew 1-1 with the former and defeated the latter 3-0.
In Euro qualifying, they finished fourth in Group E behind Albania, Czech Republic and Poland and ahead of Faroe Islands. Moldova did acquit themselves well in the group, though, as they finished just one point behind Poland, who eventually qualified for the Euros via the playoffs.
Cyprus current form
Like Moldova, Cyprus played two friendlies in March.
They drew 1-1 versus Latvia and were defeated 1-0 by Serbia.
Unfortunately for Cyprus, they were one of the worst teams in qualifying as they finished rock bottom of Group A after losing every single game.
