Juventus have made a real statement in the Serie A title race after recording a convincing victory over Milan in the San Siro.

Federico Chiesa was superb, scoring two excellent goals to give Andrea Pirlo his most impressive victory yet in charge of the Old Lady

But who were the standout performers in the contest?

✔️ GOOD PERFORMANCE

Paulo Dybala: 7.7

The Argentine started this season suffering from coronavirus and it seemed to take him quite a bit of time to find his form in the team, with rumours circling that he may even be sold.

But in the last few weeks he has begun to look like his old self again, and his assist for Chiesa's opener, a drag-back and heel into his path for the finish, was a sublime piece of skill.

He also laid on Chiesa's other goal in the second half too and on an evening were Cristiano Ronaldo was somewhat subdued, his display reminded everyone what a good player he can be.

BAD PERFORMANCE

Theo Hernandez: 5.9

Hernandez has been inspired for the Rossoneri this season from an attacking perspective but the quality of his defending has always been called into question and that again was the case here.

For Juve's opener he looked sluggish and couldn't keep up with Chiesa's pace as the wide man burst away from him with ease to slot into the corner. And he couldn't get anything going in the opposition half, either, with Juve comfortably dealing with any threat he posed. Not the best evening to have an off night.

STAR MAN

Federico Chiesa: 8.5

Chiesa's recent form has been really eye-catching and it makes the business conducted by Juventus to bring him to Turin to be shrewd indeed.

This showcased all of Chiesa's best moments. His lightning-quick turn and shot smashed against the post at 1-0, but he didn't have to wait long until making the difference, combining brilliantly with Dybala to slide his finish into the corner.

Though Milan equalised, Chiesa once again stepped up after being fed by Dybala to find the bottom corner with his finish and send the match back in his team's favour. It will be heartening to Juve that their Ronaldo reliance was taken over by Chiesa and Dybala.
