Manchester United produced another laboured performance as they relied on a Craig Dawson own-goal to see off a stubborn West Ham at Old Trafford.

United produced the type of display which has blighted their season, creating very little from an offensive perspective and it was left to their defensive players to outshine their shot-shy forwards.

✔️ Luke Shaw: 8.1

Luke Shaw's transformation from Manchester United also-ran into a clear contender for the left-back spot for England in the Euros continued with another excellent display here.

Shaw was excellent at both ends of the pitch again, winning 2/2 tackles and making eight recoveries among his 94 touches in a game where United dominated possession and territory.

He also made 36 of those passes in the final third as he performed more of an auxiliary winger role for his side.

❌ Michail Antonio: 5.5

The normally reliable striker just couldn't get in the game as he and his West Ham team-mates couldn't keep up their recent good form.

Antonio was barely in the game; he won just five of his 16 duels and four of his nine aerials as he was extremely well marshalled by Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof throughout.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka: 8.3

AWB saw as much of the ball on his side as Shaw did on the other and he seems to be getting better when in possession as well as performing his usual defensive duties.

No-one on the pitch made more than his 110 touches while only Fred made as many passes as he did.

He also predictably won both of his two tackles, made three interceptions and six recoveries in a great all-round display.
