Lyon sporting director Juninho has revealed that the club have received no bids, as of yet, for Memphis Depay or Houssem Aouar.

Memphis, a Lyon captain, is in the final year of his contract with the club, who are looking to get some money for the Dutchman before he is allowed to leave on a free transfer next summer.

Barcelona is the most mentioned destination with Ronald Koeman keen to link up with his compatriot at the Camp Nou, however the Barcelona head coach did say this week that the Blaugrana must sell players before they can afford to buy.

As for Aouar, Arsenal and Manchester City are his strongest two suitors, particularly after he played a starring role in Lyon knocking Pep Guardiola's side out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage.

However, despite reports of strong interest in both players, Juninho says no concrete offers have been put on the table.

“For now, there is nothing for these players,” Juninho told Telefoot Chaine.

“We have not received anything for Houssem, we have not received anything for Memphis.”

It was reported last week that Arsenal had had a player-plus-cash deal rejected for Aouar, but Juninho said that isn't true either despite him having a conversation with regards to Matteo Guendouzi.

“I get on very well with Edu (Arsenal director), we spoke on the phone. Aouar is really appreciated by Mikel Arteta,"

“Guendouzi was discussed during the call, he is a great player, but he is the wrong profile. We are not interested in that at all, we cut the conversation.”

Aouar and Memphis both featured for Lyon on Tuesday evening in a defeat against Montpellier, with the former being sent off.
