Liverpool loanee Harvey Elliott impressed again despite Blackburn Rovers suffering a 3-2 defeat to Watford on Wednesday evening.

Restored to the starting XI after a three-game absence that coincided with three defeats for Rovers, the Englishman made his mark once again.

⏱️ 43’ Elliott drags Blackburn back into the match as he drives into the box and smashes the ball into the roof of the net with his weaker right foot.

The teenager remained on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes despite Tony Mowbray turning to his bench in a bid to turn things around late on.

However, he was unable to inspire a comeback as out-of-form Rovers' play-off hopes took another hit.

Elliott's last start for Blackburn ended in a disappointing 1-0 defeat to QPR and a 6.3 FC Rating for the youngster. But, while the result wasn't much better this time around, the forward's goal earned him a 7.4 FC Rating - better than any of his teammates.
