Liverpool host Leverkusen in the Champions League on Tuesday in what is set to be a hugely entertaining game at Anfield.

There are only two sides in the tournament who have won their first three matches so far and Liverpool are one of them following victories versus Milan, Bologna and RB Leipzig.

Leverkusen have been impressive, too, with two victories against Feyenoord and Milan and a draw versus Brest.

Liverpool Team News

Ibrahima Konate is set to miss the game for the Reds as he suffered an arm injury against Brighton and had to be withdrawn.

He joins Alisson Becker, Harvey Elliott, Federico Chiesa and Diogo Jota on the sidelines.

With Konate unlikely to feature, Joe Gomez will deputise in the middle of defence alongside Virgil van Dijk, while Caoimhin Kelleher will continue in goal.

Ryan Gravenberch and Kostas Tsimikas both started against Brighton but Arne Slot may opt to bring Andy Robertson and Curtis Jones back into the fold.

Luis Diaz might be preferred to Cody Gakpo even though the Dutchman scored the winner on Saturday.
