Graham Potter's men moved 10 points clear of the bottom three as they battled to a brilliant victory over last year's Premier League champions.

So which players stood out?

✔️ GOOD PERFORMANCE

Yves Bissouma: 7.2

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Yves Bissouma in recent months and, though they won't have enjoyed his performance here, they will surely have been impressed.

The midfielder made more passes than any other Brighton player (47) and won five of his nine duels as he brilliantly combined graft with craft to provide a platform.

BAD PERFORMANCE

Xherdan Shaqiri: 5.8

Called upon again to replace Sadio Mane, the Swiss struggled in an uncomfortable left-wing role.

He didn't complete a dribble or put in a cross, and managed just one touch in the Brighton box.

STAR MAN

Dan Burn: 6.8

Losing possession on more occasions (25) than any other player except Trent Alexander-Arnold (31) may have affected his rating, but this was a strong performance from Burn.

The defender took more touches (66) than any Brighton player, and won more duels than any player on the pitch (10/16).

He also set up the winning goal for good measure.
