La Liga Team of the Week: West Ham target En-Nesyri smashes in a hat-trick

If the Hammers were on a scouting mission this weekend they certainly would have been impressed by the Sevilla striker

Sevilla moved up to fourth in La Liga this weekend after a comfortable 3-0 home victory over Cadiz.

The match winner and the man who scored all three goals was reported West Ham target Youssef En-Nesyri (10), who took his tally to 12 league goals this season.

The Hammers have apparently had a number of bids rejected for the Sevilla striker in the January transfer window, but with him in this kind of form you can see why Los Nervionenses are desperate to ward away any suitors.

Karim Benzema (9.0) continues to be the main man up top for Real Madrid, as he scored two as Los Blancos defeated Alaves 4-1 away from home.

After two straight defeats in the Spanish Super Cup and then embarrassingly in the Copa del Rey against minnows Alcoyano, it was a return to form for most.

Toni Kroos (9.2) and Luka Modric (8.2) were excellent, recording three assists between them.

The German was, as he usually is, in the top five players for the most touches of the ball and the most passes completed in this round of fixtures, as well as his two assists.

Joining Benzema and En-Nesyri in attack is Ante Budimir (8.5), who scored two as Osasuna beat Granada 3-1.

One of the biggest wins of the weekend saw Athletic demolish Getafe 5-1, with Raul Garcia (8.1) helping himself to a couple of goals in that one.

Frenkie de Jong (9.3) has undoubtedly came into a rich vein of form recently and with Barcelona missing Lionel Messi against Elche, someone had to step up.

The Dutchman did, as he played a part in both goals in a 2-0 win with a goal and an assist for Riqui Puig. He also won an impressive 8/11 duels.

The clean sheet was a welcome one for the Blaugrana, and Samuel Umtiti (8.0) and Ronald Araujo (8.0) certainly played their part in that to make the Team of the Week.

Jules Kounde (8.0) makes up the three-man backline after his outing for Sevilla.

It wasn't a great weekend for goalkeepers in La Liga, but Sevilla's Yassine Bounou (7.3) just makes the cut.
