Joshua Kimmich produced one of the performances of the season so far, producing a hat-trick of assists as Bayern comfortably dominated Schalke in their 4-0 Bundesliga triumph.

📷 Joshua Kimmich: Match Snapshot

Kimmich dominated the contest with a huge 119 touches, 25 more than any other player, which included 89 passes and an 88% pass completion rate.

But there's nothing missing from Kimmich's game. He won all three of his tackles, two of his three aerial duels, as well as three interceptions and nine recoveries.

And in the attacking positions, he completed four dribbles, hit four shots on goal as well as his three impressive assists, perfectly utilising the attacking talent available to him.

He provided the vital final touch for both of Thomas Muller's goals as well as the one netted by Robert Lewandowski sandwiched in between, and he did all of this from what is essentially a defensive midfield position. At the moment, there's few in the world better than Kimmich in his role.
