The Premier League, Ligue 1, and La Liga are all back for the new 2020/21 season after the elongated previous campaign.

With an unprecedented summer due to the coronavirus, clubs are being forced to alter the way they do business. Could this impact managerial positions at some point? Time will tell.

As the season has just started, there have been no major sackings over the past week or so, but Thomas Tuchel could be on borrowed time with PSG...

Tuchel may have taken Paris Saint-Germain to their first ever Champions League final against Bayern a couple of weeks ago, but his failure to bring back the trophy to the club's demanding owners has seen his position become slightly under threat.

Off the field, things aren't great, as he has reportedly clashed with club director Leonardo over the transfer of Mauro Icardi as well as the decision to allow captain Thiago Silva to leave on a free transfer.

On the pitch domestically things are dire, too, as they followed up their surprising opening day loss to Lens with a defeat against Marseille in Le Classique.

PSG looked desperately fatigued in the fiery battle which saw no less than FIVE red cards being shown, including to Neymar who alleged after the match that he was racially abused by Alvaro Gonzalez.

All the headlines will surround the situation with the Brazilian, but to focus on the result itself, it is certainly a bad one for PSG...and for Tuchel.

Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly ready to step in should the PSG hierarchy lose patience with the German.
