Chelsea's 3-1 loss to Manchester City on Sunday has propelled Frank Lampard into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

INSECURE: Frank Lampard (Chelsea)

Chelsea now have one win in seven in all competitions. But it was the manner of the defeat to Manchester City that was the real surprising thing.

Lampard's side were comprehensively outplayed in every area of the pitch as City strolled to a 3-1 win which could have been much more.

Lampard also clearly doesn't know his best team and has multi-million pound signings which are woefully out of form. The Athletic reports that Chelsea are considering Lampard's position and the likes of Thomas Tuchel and Massimiliano Allegri lead the way in the betting.

While Mikel Arteta and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have had some recent success with Arsenal and Manchester United in being retained, Chelsea are more kneejerk than that and it would be no surprise to see a change coming soon.
