The upcoming UEFA Nations League clash between Israel and France is set to take place on 10 October 2024 at Bozsik Arena in Budapest. France will enter the match full of confidence following their 2-0 victory over Belgium, looking to continue their strong form in the competition.

Israel, on the other hand, will be aiming to turn around a string of disappointing results, having suffered back-to-back losses against Belgium and Italy. Both teams are dealing with key absences that will influence their lineups, but France remains the clear favourite.

Despite the absence of Kylian Mbappé, who is being rested, and Antoine Griezmann's retirement from international duty, France still boasts a highly talented squad. For Israel, the absence of Manor Solomon due to injury weakens their attacking options, adding to their challenges ahead of the fixture.

Israel Predicted Lineup

Israel’s recent form suggests they are likely to field a familiar lineup, though they will have to compensate for the loss of Manor Solomon. With their struggles in recent matches, especially in attack, coach Alon Hazan will likely focus on defensive stability against a strong French side.

Captain Eli Dasa is expected to start at right-back, while veteran defender Eitan Tibi could partner with Hatem Abd Elhamed in central defence.

In midfield, the experienced Bibras Natcho is likely to pull the strings alongside Dor Peretz, with the pair tasked with maintaining possession and breaking up France’s attacks. Offensively, much of the creativity will need to come from Liel Abada and Oscar Gloukh.

Up front, Shon Weissman is expected to lead the line, tasked with the difficult job of getting past France’s resilient defence.

France Predicted Lineup

France, led by Didier Deschamps, will have a strong squad despite missing key players like Mbappé and Griezmann. Christopher Nkunku is expected to spearhead the attack, with Kingsley Coman and Ousmane Dembélé providing width on the wings.

The midfield trio is likely to consist of Adrien Rabiot, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Eduardo Camavinga, offering a blend of physicality and creativity.

In defence, France’s trusted centre-back pairing of Dayot Upamecano and Ibrahima Konaté should continue, with Theo Hernandez at left-back and Jules Koundé likely to feature on the right.

Mike Maignan will likely keep his place as the starting goalkeeper, as France aims to dominate the game both defensively and offensively.
