Coronavirus positives are currently sweeping Serie A and the fabled Milan derby, set to take place on Saturday evening, hasn't been spared from the crisis.

Five players from Inter - Roberto Gagliardini, Radja Nainggolan, Ionut Radu, Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni - all tested positive while on International duty and will still be under quarantine when the match comes around.

Meanwhile Milan have youngster Matteo Gabbia out after he contracted covid while playing with Italy U21s, while Leo Duarte has yet to record back-to-back negative tests to allow him to return to action.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has however finally recovered and will be available for contention for the Rossoneri, but Ante Rebic's elbow injury is almost certain to keep him out of action.

For Inter, Alexis Sanchez is a major doubt after picking up a knock while featuring for Chile in South American qualifying, but the duo of Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku both netted during the break and have emerged unscathed.

Ashley Young's previous positive test means he will also miss out, while Stefano Sensi's silly red card at Lazio means he is suspended.
