Eden Hazard has suffered another injury blow which will further delay his first appearance for Real Madrid this season.

Earlier this week, the former Chelsea winger returned to full training with Los Blancos, with Zinedine Zidane praising his professionalism in working hard to get back fit.

However, following a training session on Wednesday it was revealed by Marca that he had picked up an injury to his right thigh which will see him miss between three and four weeks of action.

Since his move from Chelsea which could amount to as much as €140m, Hazard has been ravaged by injury and only featured 16 times in the league in 2019/20, while he has only a solitary goal to his name in a Real Madrid shirt.

Following his return to full training, Hazard was named in the Real Madrid squad for the first time this season for the upcoming match against Real Valladolid.

He'll now miss that fixture, plus Belgium's Nations League matches against England and Iceland.

It was an ankle issue that kept Hazard out of action for the best part of a year, but the fresh thigh injury is the issue that will see him remain on the sidelines until after the international break
