Greece will face Ireland this Sunday in the UEFA Nations League, with both teams aiming to solidify their positions in Group B2. Greece are riding high, having won their last four matches, including an incredibly impressive 2-1 victory over England at Wembley.

They lead their Nations League group with a perfect record and will look to maintain momentum. Ireland, on the other hand, have struggled, winning only two of their last eight matches. However, they secured a 2-1 victory against Finland in their previous game, which may boost their confidence heading into this tie.

Both sides are expected to field strong lineups, with Greece potentially keeping the same team that triumphed over England, while Ireland may look to build on their improved second-half performance against Finland. Here are the predicted lineups for both teams:

Greece Predicted Lineup

For Greece, head coach Ivan Jovanovic will likely avoid making any significant changes after the team's recent success. Greece's defence has been solid, conceding only one goal in their last four games, and they’ll want to continue that form.

Odisseas Vlachodimos is expected to start in goal, with the backline consisting of Lazaros Rota, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Konstantinos Koulierakis, and Dimitris Giannoulis.

In midfield, Dimitrios Kourbelis, Anastasios Bakasetas, and Manolis Siopis should retain their places, providing a solid base for the attack.

Up front, Vangelis Pavlidis, who has been in excellent form, will be supported by Georgios Masouras and Christos Tzolis.

In midfield, Ireland might line up with Chiedozie Ogbene, Sammie Szmodics, Josh Cullen, Jason Knight, and Robbie Brady.
