Arsenal's hugely inconsistent Premier League form continued on Sunday evening as they were thrashed 3-0 by Aston Villa at the Emirates.

The result leaves the Gunners languishing in the bottom half of the table, while Villa put an end to their two-game losing streak thanks to a Bukayo Saka own goal and two strikes from Ollie Watkins.

So which Arsenal players flopped badly and which Villa stars deserve the plaudits?

Premier League, Standings, Fixtures and Results

✔️ GOOD PERFORMANCE

Jack Grealish - 7.8:

Grealish has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season and he showed why by running the show in north London. Arsenal could not get near the midfielder throughout the match as he made one goal and created another big chance. He also had five shots - two of them on target and one cleared off the line. He had a game-high eight touches inside the box.

BAD PERFORMANCE

Alexandre Lacazette - 5.2:

Lacazette is without a goal since September and was hauled off by manager Mikel Arteta after 65 minutes after another toothless performance. He had just one shot and one touch in the box during his time on the pitch as Arsenal struggled horribly at both ends.

Bukayo Saka - 5.6:

The versatile Englishman has been one of Arsenal's bright spots this year but he had an evening to forget against Villa. His own goal gifted the away side the lead in the first half and he never really recovered from that mishap.

STAR MAN

Ollie Watkins - 9.1:

Watkins has enjoyed an outstanding start to life at Aston Villa following his summer transfer from Brentford. After scoring a hat-trick in the 7-2 thrashing of Liverpool, he has now bagged a double against another big club. He twice finished clinically in the second half to take the game away from Arsenal, while he was a constant threat to the Gunners' defence with his pace and movement.
