Germany and the Netherlands will face off in what promises to be a decent UEFA Nations League match. Both sides remain unbeaten in Group A3, making this fixture crucial for their hopes of advancing to the knockout stages. Germany narrowly leads the group with seven points, while the Netherlands trail by two points. Their previous encounter ended in a 2-2 draw, showcasing the evenly matched nature of these European powerhouses.

Germany enters this game off the back of a hard-fought 2-1 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina, while the Netherlands salvaged a 1-1 draw against Hungary despite playing with ten men. With both teams battling injuries and suspensions, the lineups for this match will likely feature some interesting changes.

Germany Predicted Lineup

Germany will be missing key players for this clash, with Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz ruled out due to injury. This paves the way for Florian Wirtz to take up a more prominent role in attack, alongside Serge Gnabry and Deniz Undav, who has been in fine form, scoring eight goals in eight games.

In midfield, Julian Nagelsmann is likely to rely on the trio of Anton Stach, Robert Andrich, and Pascal Groß to control proceedings.

Defensively, Joshua Kimmich will probably slot in at right-back, with Antonio Rüdiger and Jonathan Tah partnering in central defence. Luca Mittelstädt should continue at left-back, while Alexander Nübel is expected to deputise in goal in the absence of Marc-André ter Stegen.

Germany Predicted Lineup to face the Netherlands

Nubel; Kimmich, Rudiger, Tah, Mittelstadt; Andrich, Pavlovic, Gross; Wirtz, Undav, Gnabry

Netherlands Predicted Lineup

Ronald Koeman’s Dutch side will be without the suspended Virgil van Dijk and the injured Frenkie de Jong. Matthijs de Ligt will likely take up the central defensive role, with Micky van de Ven likely to continue at left-back due to a shortage of options in that position.

Denzel Dumfries will provide width from right-back, while Xavi Simons is expected to spearhead the attack, supported by Cody Gakpo and Joshua Zirkzee.

Midfield injuries have also hit the Netherlands side hard, with Teun Koopmeiners and Jerdy Schouten sidelined. This means Ryan Gravenberch and Tijjani Reijnders will probably anchor the midfield alongside Quinten Timber.

Netherlands Predicted Lineup to face Germany

Verbruggen; Dumfries, De Vrij, De Ligt, Van de Ven; Gravenberch, Reijnders, Q Timber; Simons, Zirkzee, Gakpo
