Germany will be looking to secure a dominant group-stage finish in the UEFA Nations League, welcoming Bosnia and Herzegovina to Freiburg’s Europa-Park Stadion.

Julian Nagelsmann’s men need just one point to claim the top spot, as they currently lead League A Group 3. Despite missing some players, the Germans are well-positioned to overcome their underperforming opponents.

For Bosnia, anything less than victory would mean relegation to League B. The side has only managed one point so far in this group and faces a major challenge away from home.

Even with Bosnia’s slim chance of advancing, the Germans will likely look to exploit Bosnia’s defensive vulnerabilities and extend their win streak.

Germany Team News

Germany’s setup will likely feature a strong attacking core despite some absentees. Julian Nagelsmann is expected to place Oliver Baumann in goal, possibly giving the uncapped Stefan Ortega a substitute opportunity.

In defence, Joshua Kimmich and Antonio Rudiger are probable starters, joined by Jonathan Tah and Maximilian Mittelstadt to reinforce a balanced backline.

Midfield options are varied; Florian Wirtz, who has been recovering from illness, may be saved for later matches.

In his stead, Nagelsmann could rely on Andrich and Gross. Up front, Kai Havertz and Leroy Sane will likely add firepower, supported by Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry.

Bosnia and Herzegovina Team News

Bosnia faces an uphill struggle, especially as Atalanta defender Sead Kolasinac is injured and Nikola Katic is suspended.

This will require manager Sergej Barbarez to reorganise his defence with players like Tarik Muharemovic and Nihad Mujakic. Goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj will look to steady the back, while Edin Dzeko, still prolific at 38, will lead Bosnia’s attack.
