Gareth Bale has struggled for form and consistent minutes on his return to Tottenham, but he displayed his class against Wolfsberger in the Europa League.
The Lilywhites came away 4-1 winners, and with that advantage, plus four away goals, a place in the next round has almost already been wrapped up.
Jose Mourinho will just be hoping that Bale can replicate this form in the Premier League for the rest of the season.
📷 Gareth Bale: Match Snapshot:
With Harry Kane not in the travelling squad, Bale needed to step up, and finally make his mark on this Tottenham team, with a goal and an assist, he certainly did this.
⏱️ 13’ After a sequence of passes, Bale finds himself in space on the right hand side of the penalty box, and the Welshman's pinpoint right-footed cross is headed into the far corner by Heung-Min Son.
⏱️ 28’ Bale again finds himself in space down the right, but instead of crossing this time, he chops inside, sending the defender sliding across the turf, before firing it past Alexander Kofler in the Wolfsberger goal.
