The Bayern striker was in imperious form for Poland on Thursday as he scored a predatory hat-trick in his nation's comfortable 3-0 win away against Latvia in Euro qualifying Group G.
By netting three times, he became Poland's most successful goalscorer in away matches.
All of his goals summed up his prowess as a penalty box striker. The first saw him exchange a precise one-two with Sebastian Szymanski on the edge of the box before moving into the area to dink a finish into the corner. His second was scored four minutes later as he cleverly held his run around 15 yards out to receive a cutback from Kamil Grosicki, which he clinically diverted into the bottom right corner.
The hat-trick goal was scored in much simpler fashion, as the ball broke fortuitously to him at the back post, where he stood to pass into the empty net.
The centre-forward also won six out of eight aerial duels, so was a real handful for the Latvians.
