Joaquin continues to defy his 38 years of age by producing some of the most consistent form of his career as his fifth decade approaches.

In the first 21 minutes against Athletic Bilbao he was unplayable. He controlled a deflection from a corner and smashed into the right hand corner, then he swerved his second neatly into the far corner.

For the third, he broke clear and once again found the corner of the net with a composure and a skill amassed over nearly 20 years as a professional. It's our hope that Joaquin continues playing for many more years to come.
