In a brilliant, exciting DFB-Pokal clash, Frankfurt got the better of RB Leipzig 3-1 and their victory was largely down to some superb finishing by the flying attacker Filip Kostic.

With his side already 1-0 ahead courtesy of an Andre Silva penalty, Kostic sprinted clear of the Red Bull defence to finish clinically across the goalkeeper.

And after Dani Olmo had pulled one back for the visitors, Kostic then strode through on the left and once again arrowed his finish into the far corner and ended the contest.

Kostic has been a bright spark for Frankfurt this season and will be hoping that he can take his performance into the Bundesliga matches ahead, after seeing off the long-time league leaders.
