Bruno Fernandes is currently one of the most coveted midfielders in Europe, and despite him recently signing a new contract with Sporting, he remains a target for the likes of Manchester United and Spurs.

On this form against PSV, you can see why.

He had a hand in all four goals as Sporting won 4-0 against the Dutch outfit, scoring two and assisting another two.

The opener for Luiz Phellype came via one of Fernandes' crosses, as he looped the ball into the box with the outside of his right foot for his team-mate to head home. Just six minutes later, he got on the scoresheet himself with a blistering effort in off the post from around 35 yards, which bounced just in front of the goalkeeper to take it out of reach.

He set-up the third goal with a deep corner-kick to the back post for Jeremy Mathieu to slide a finish into the roof of the net, and then rounded off the win with a coolly taken penalty.

The Sporting captain worked hard, too, making seven ball recoveries.
