Italy finished their qualifying campaign for the 2020 European Championships as one of the most impressive teams in the tournament, winning every single match.
In their last fixture, they demolished Armenia 9-1 for one of their biggest ever victories, with Immobile scoring two and setting up another.
It was in the first half that the Lazio striker proved his worth, as he scored the opener with a header after a ghosting run to the back post, which was followed by an assist for Nicolo Zaniolo to run through and slot under the oncoming keeper.
Immobile would grab his second and Italy's fourth by darting through the middle to dink a touch around the goalkeeper, allowing him to pass into the empty net.
He sent 20 passes into the final third, had eight touches inside the Armenia penalty area, and won the majority of his duels.
He also, remarkably, misplaced just three passes out of 40 on the night.
