Antoine Griezmann has suffered somewhat of a false start to his career at Barcelona, but at international level with France he is usually on the top of his game, and he was the standout performer in Les Bleus' easy win over Albania.

It was his wicked free-kick which created the opening goal for Corentin Tolisso to power a header home, then he latched onto Leo Dubois' intelligent cutback to slot neatly into the corner.

But it was his all-round play that was so encouraging; a teasing corner should haver been converted by Clement Lenglet, then he laid on two golden opportunities for Olivier Giroud, only for the forward to be denied by the goalkeeper and then the post. The latter involved the Griez sprinting back forty yards to slide in and win possession for his team.

Barca fans will be hoping he can bring this kind of performance back to Camp Nou.
