Crystal Palace could think themselves fortunate to still be in the game in the last 15 minutes against Brighton on Monday, as the seaside club battered them for the majority of proceedings.
Before Wilfried Zaha equalised, Brighton were left frustrated by Vicente Guaita, who kept his team in contention by making no less than nine saves, and even though none were particularly spectatcular, they were required to keep the scoreline lower than it could have, and perhaps should have been.
He made 16 ball recoveries, too, which took the pressure off his defenders at vital moments when Brighton were on the ascendancy.
