Spain might not have been up against much, but the display of Gerard Moreno is likely to create some selection headaches for La Roja in the games to come.

With a number of striking options available including the likes of Alvaro Morata and Rodrigo among others, Moreno staked a claim with a fantastic performance against the modest Malta.

Moreno provided assists to Morata, Santi Cazorla and Pablo Sarabia before eventually finding the net himself in a comprehensive 7-0 victory.

Moreno has been one of the most impressive performers in La Liga this season for Villarreal, and if he keeps up this level of display it's likely we will see him at Euro 2020 for the three-time winners.
