Bayern were positively scintillating this weekend as they defeated Werder Bremen 6-1 at the Allianz Arena, with Coutinho emerging as the standout performer with a hat-trick and two assists.

It really was one of the best performances you will see this season, as the three goals were all magnificent, while one assist in particular for Robert Lewandowski was sublime as he lofted a left-footed ball over the top of the opposition defence.

For his first goal, he was in the right place at the right time to turn home a cross from Serge Gnabry.

His second saw him run in behind the Bremen backline to lob a cheeky finish up and over the oncoming goalkeeper.

The hat-trick goal was the best of the bunch, though, and it was vintage Coutinho as he cut inside on his cultured right foot from the left wing to whip a cracking strike high into the stanchion of the top right corner.
