Stoke bounced back from an awful run of three straight defeats by beating Luton 3-0 on Tuesday, with Joe Allen leading the charge from midfield with two goals.

His first came to make it to 2-0 to the home side, as he glanced in a front-post header after some good work from James McClean.

The second, though, was classic Allen as he bit at the feet of the opposition midfielder to win possession in a dangerous area before running through the middle to pass a calm finish into the bottom right corner.

He dominated the midfield on the night, winning four tackles, as well as making seven ball recoveries.

His command of the ball was also impressive as he completed 34 out of 37 attempted passes for a success rate of 92%.
