5. HEAVENLY GOAL FROM JESUS

Gabriel Jesus was in excellent form this week as he scored a hat-trick for Manchester City in the Champions League against Dinamo Zagreb. His second was the best of the three as it involved some lovely interplay from the visitors in the build-up. Benjamin Mendy collects the ball down the right before playing inside to Jesus, who then exchanges a one-two with Phil Foden which allows him to burst into the box, cut inside past the defender, before curling a strike into the bottom corner.

4. OUTSTANDING OLMO

Even though Man City would go on to win the game 4-1 against Dinamo, the hosts actually took the lead through a belter from Dani Olmo. The young Spaniard, who is one of Europe's hottest properties at the moment, allows the ball to come over his head from a free-kick before catching a cracking volley into the top right corner from inside the box which proves too hot to handle for Claudio Bravo.

3.BRIGHT LIGHTS UP ST. ANDREW'S

QPR were relatively comfortable the whole game against Birmingham City this week and took the lead just before the end of the first half. Bright Osayi-Samuel would score the goal to take it beyond them after embarking on a swashbuckling run down the left wing, showing power, pace, and close control to evade opposition tackles before making his way into the box to smash a finish into the top left corner.

2. MO SALAH, RUNNING (ALL THE WAY) DOWN THE WING

Liverpool, eventually, comfortably defeated RB Salzburg during the week with Mohamed Salah scoring the second goal of the game on 58 minutes to make it 2-0. After a shocking bit of defending from the centre-back, the Egyptian pounces on the loose ball to run through on goal down the right channel before rounding the goalkeeper to score from a very, very tight angle with his right foot. Not many players in the world would display that kind of composure, but Mo has it in abundance.

1. HOUSSEM AOUPHWOAR

Against RB Leipzig, Lyon were desperate for some inspiration whilst 2-0 down, knowing they had to get something from the game in order to progress to the last-16. They got in in the form of Houssem Aouar, who collects the ball down the left-hand side before cutting inside on his right foot to curl an absolute beauty of a strike high into the top right corner, with the goalkeeper left stranded on his line. With the no backlift combined with the fact the ball looked like it was going wide until the last minute, this is just so satisfying to watch.
