5. PASALIC MAKES IMMEDIATE IMPACT

In a cracking Serie A encounter on Saturday evening, Atalanta defeated Roma 2-1 in the race for fourth place in the table and Champions League qualification.

The home side went a goal behind but rallied after the break to score two within 15 minutes, with the second, which proved to be the winner, scored by Mario Pasalic only moments after entering the field of play.

After taking his first touch of the game to set himself inside the box, he opens up his body to curl a beauty of a strike into the top right corner at the postage stamp.

4. SURGE FROM SERGE

Serge Gnabry has proved to be a scorer of great goals this season, and this one in Bayern's 4-1 away win versus Koln is one to add to the collection.

The former Arsenal winger collects possession down the left flank before embarking on a signature, speedy dribble into the central area, easily drifting past tackle after tackle. He eventually finishes off the move with a delightful, whipped effort into the right corner, using the defender as a shield for his strike to make things that bit more difficult for the keeper.

3. BELTER FROM BULTER

Union Berlin actually scored two cracking goals against Leverkusen, only to be beaten 3-2 at home.

Their best made it 2-2 at the time and came from Marius Bulter, who runs into the box via the left channel, faking to shoot before cutting back inside on his right foot with a clever shift. Thereafter, he arrows a magnificent finish high into the top right corner, with the goalkeeper left stranded.

2. SUAREZ AND SANTI COMBINATION

Celta earned a potentially vital point in their battle against relegation after coming back from behind to draw 2-2 against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The equaliser came five minutes from time thanks to one of the assists of the season from Denis Suarez. The former Barca attacking midfielder patiently waits for the run of Santi Mina before threading an incredible pass in behind the Real Madrid defence with the outside of his right foot, which allows his team-mate to finish into the corner.

1. GAEL KAKUTA. REMEMBER HIM?

With regards to Gael Kakuta, there has always been a player in there even if he rarely shows it.

Against PSG for Amiens in a hugely entertaining 4-4 draw, he showed it, with a goal and two assists to his name.

His goal was the one to make it 2-0 Amiens and was the goal of the weekend, as he collects the ball to feet around a yard into the box on the left channel before rifling an absolutely stunning volley across goal into the top right corner.
