Erling Haaland drew a rare blank in front of goal as Norway took on Gibraltar in World Cup qualifying on Wednesday evening.

Having scored six goals in his last four outings for Borussia Dortmund, the 20-year-old would have hoped to boost his tally for the campaign against opponents ranked 195th out of all 210 nations by Fifa.

However, he failed to find the back of the net despite a flurry of attempts before being withdrawn in the second half on a forgettable evening on a personal level.
