Roma head into the final day of the Serie A season knowing that qualification for the Champions League is still possible, even if it's a long shot.

Serie A was granted FIVE spots in the Champions League for next season due to Italy's performance in the UEFA rankings.

However, that could prove to be six as Atalanta gained qualification after winning the Europa League. If Atalanta finish fifth and no higher in Serie A, Roma will gain entry into the competition, too.

Due to Atalanta's participation in European finals, they will play their final match against each other next weekend.

Empoli current form

It is win or bust for Empoli on the final day of the campaign as they must defeat Roma and hope that Udinese drop points versus Frosinone.

At the moment, Empoli are in 18th, one point adrift of safety.

They have won just two out of their last 11 matches and without a victory in four, having lost against Atalanta and Lazio and drawn versus Frosinone and Udinese.

Roma current form

Roma have won just two out of their last five and those wins came against Udinese and Genoa. They were defeated by Atalanta and drew against Napoli and Juventus.

They've scored just three goals in three games.

Tyronne Ebuehi is out with a cruciate ligament injury, while Alberto Cerri is a doubt.

As for Roma, the only injury concerns Leonardo Spinazzola, though Romelu Lukaku and Leandro Paredes are suspended.

Roma will likely take care of their own business amid their Champions League hopes, which means relegation for Empoli.
