Bayern will be without Alphonso Davies for the Champions League encounter away at Lokomotiv Moscow, with the Canadian set to miss a period of action with an ankle injury.

Just a few minutes into the weekend's 5-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt, Davies could be seen going over on his ankle at a very awkward angle, with Bayern subsequently confirming that he could be missing for between six and eight weeks.

Lucas Hernandez, who had been playing left-back until Davies started on Saturday, will retain his place.

Serge Gnabry is also absent for Bayern as he continues his recovery from coronavirus.

Douglas Costa made his first Bundesliga start of the season at the weekend, but with Leroy Sane coming off the bench to return from injury and score, the German could be given a place on the left wing, with Kingsley Coman on the opposite flank.

Expect the usual duo of Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski to make up the rest of the front four.
