Crystal Palace were able to grab their first point of the season at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea on Sunday, September 1st. A wonder strike from Eberechi Eze was enough to see the Eagles head back to South East London having finally got out of the drop zone for the first time this season.

Best Player of the Match
Levi Colwill
Levi Colwill's performance from the centre of defence was enough for him to earn the Player of the Match awards, with his 4 aerials won and 6 ball recoveries adding up to his impressive display.
Worst Player on the Pitch
Jean-Philippe Mateta
JPM was unfortunately not effective at all for Palace away from home, with the striker only managing 1 shot which wasn't even on target and no touches in Chelsea's box during the 69 minutes that he was on the pitch.
With the arrival of Eddie Nketiah, Palace will be hoping to get some more firepower and goals, something they've been screaming out for in the first three games of the season.
