Manchester City produced one of their finest performances of the season as they comfortably defeated Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.

But who were the standout performers in the contest?

✔️ GOOD PERFORMANCE

Phil Foden: 7.8

Foden took advantage of a starting berth within the side to demand that his manager gives him more of a look in from the start.

Foden's quick lay-off provided an assist to Ilkay Gundogan for the opening goal, while the German should have given him a second, but could only flick the Englishman's good pass wide of the target.

And the talented youngster also scored an excellent goal, guiding home Kevin De Bruyne's near-post pass in what was an encouraging all-round display.

BAD PERFORMANCE

Hakim Ziyech: 5.5

Ziyech was making a return after a month out due to injury, but by his own high standards he offered Chelsea precious little.

His cross and set-piece delivery was not on point and simply couldn't get the better of Oleksander Zinchenko, who performed ably at left-back.

It was no surprise to see him hooked with just 63 minutes played, and what's more, his replacement Callum Hudson-Odoi provided much more of an impact.

STAR MAN

Kevin De Bruyne: 8.3

De Bruyne was deployed in an unconventional centre-forward position, but boy did he make the most of it for City in a cultured display.

Everything positive ran through the Belgian. His intelligent pass through the legs of Cesar Azpilicueta allowed Phil Foden to sweep home the second goal.

And after Raheem Sterling's shot careered off the post, his sublime first touch allowed him the easiest of tasks to slot home into the empty net.

All in all, Chelsea were three yards away from him at all times and it's the kind of display that reminds that De Bruyne is among the finest players in world football.
