The records will show that Swift achieved two assists here, and though his first was an excellent corner headed home by Michael Morrison, his second was just a touch wide to Ejaria to whip home. However Swift's all-round display was superb, completing 55 (90%) of his passes with 50% of those in the final third as well as eight recoveries, helping Reading's form onto an upward curve.

Forest managed to overcome local rivals Derby in the early kick-off on Saturday, and they had a solid display from their goalkeeper to thank for securing the 1-0 win. Samba made seven saves in the contest including a superb close-range block on a deflected shot early in the match, giving Lewis Grabban the platform to score the winning goal.

Jake Livermore

Livermore has been superb all season for West Brom and his stunning long-range strike was enough to collect three points at Hull to send his team top. He blasted home from fully 30 yards and his all-round performance was excellent, with 13 recoveries and five interceptions allowing his team to remain control of the contest.

Sam Clucas
M (C) - Stoke - 29 yrs

You'll be hard pushed to see a better double over the weekend than Clucas' two goals in the 4-2 win over Barnsley. His second was a fabulous first-time hit with his left foot which whizzed into the corner, but it was completely overshadowed by his effort from the halfway line in the opening minutes, taking advantage of a poor clearance from the keeper to fire back into the net for a glorious goal.

A. Mitrović
S (C) - Fulham - 25 yrs

Mitrovic continues to show his class sat this level by netting his 12th goal of the season in the away win over Birmingham. Not only is he offering conversions, he is opening the game up for his team too, with four completed dribbles and three big chances created for team-mates who were unable to convert. If Fulham are to mount a promotion challenge, the Serbian will be key to their success.

HONOURABLE MENTIONS

Kamohelo Mokotjo (8.2) provided an excellent goal and an assist in Brentford's 3-0 win at Wigan.

ROUND TO FORGET

Bradley Collins (4.6) conceded four goals to Stoke, including gifting the opening goal to Clucas.
