The Champions League group stage came to a conclusion and some of football's finest attackers came out in force to produce some wonderful performances.

There may have been off-the-field issues to deal with in the PSG - Basaksehir fixture, but when the fixture finally got going tonight, Neymar (10) and Kylian Mbappe (9.1) were in sensational form.

The Brazilian ran the Turkish side ragged, scoring a brilliant hat-trick, his first goal featuring a cheeky nutmeg and curling finish. Mbappe meanwhile hadn't scored a CL goal in a year, but struck from the spot before wrapping up the win in the second half.

Elsewhere Cristiano Ronaldo (8.6) fired home two penalties and put in a shift for his Juventus side as they humbled Barcelona 3-0 at Camp Nou to top their group ahead of the Catalan giants.

And behind him 42-year-old Gigi Buffon (9.1) showed he could still compete at this level by keeping out no less than seven shots on target from Lionel Messi, keeping a clean sheet into the bargain.

Karim Benzema (9.1) came to the fore when Real Madrid really needed him, powering home two brilliant headers to see off Borussia Monchengladbach in their make-or-break Group G clash.

Bayern had already qualified but both Alphonso Davies (8.8) and Nicklas Sule (8.5) showing their quality, the latter heading home the game-changing goal in the second half. He's joined in defence by Denys Popov (8.5) from Dynamo Kyiv and Lucas Vazquez (9.1), whose excellent cross provided for Benzema's opening goal.

At the base of the midfield, Ruud Vormer (8.5) of Club Brugge and Otavio (8.5) from Porto.
